“I represent a Poland-based company. The exhibitors here offer interesting eco-friendly chemical products and mortars that I am searching for. I am looking for Chinese suppliers because their product quality is high and is comparable to those from Spain and Greece. The green sector is very popular all over Europe and I believe this sector will only keep growing with the support from the government. During my visit, I plan to attend two or three seminars at the Eco Asia Conference to learn more about the prevailing trends. There are a lot of interesting technologies on display.”
Damian Sędłak, Product Manager, Structum (Poland)
“I have attended Eco Expo Asia for about four to five years and every trip has been a productive experience. I work for the Institute for Tourism Studies where we teach students about the latest green trends. Every year I see something valuable that I can bring back to share with my students. I am here also to look for the latest innovations and suitable products in energy efficiency, food waste recycling and IAQ for the hostels, hotels, as well as the teaching building under our institute. I met some companies here that provide WEEE collection and recycling services that we can actually consider adopting for our outdated computers in the school.”
Wong Im Kun, William, Technician, Central Services, Institute for Tourism Studies (Macau)
“We provide natural fibre-polymer-composite that is derived from rice husks, an alternative to traditional wood. Our clients are mainly from Germany, the US, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia, and we are looking to expand our network in Asia. We are here to look for new building materials and to search for potential contractors or companies who may be interested in sourcing our products. I have seen some new materials here that we may consider using them as the new raw materials for our products.”
Simon Chan, Project Manager, Resysta China Ltd (Chinese mainland)
”We are a contractor for the Bangkok government and I am here especially to source sewage treatment solutions that can possibly be introduced into the city. I am also interested in new technologies in river remediation. I am happy with the quality of the products on display. I found sustainable, green water treatment equipment, odour removal technologies and air purification solutions that I believe may be useful to our business. This journey has proven to be quite a success.”
Phurich Wisitworaporn, Managing Director, Allwin Project Co Ltd (Thailand) |
“This is the fourth time we have been to this fair and this is getting better and better. There are more new eco-technology companies this year. We are a charity organisation aiming to promote the importance of development in eco-technology. This is the best fair in the four years I have attended. Visitor flow is very good, and they are all serious about the topics presented. I would say the fair has gathered many professional parties. On the first day, we are visited by many government officials and it was a good opportunity for us. The last day which is open to public also offers us a good chance to educate the general public regarding various environmental issues. We have been to other eco fairs in Macau and China, I would say this is the best so far in terms of visitor flow and efficacy. We will definitely come back next year, hopefully to expand our booth size, include more products and technologies, and gather more members for our organisation.”
Eddie Chan Wing Lai, Chief Executive Director, Green Technology Consortium (Hong Kong)
“We think Eco Expo Asia can help our business with its concentrated buyer base. The Expo is close to the airport and offers easy access to major overseas cities. Buyers showed great interest in our products such as the magnetic resistant free generator, and we have received many inquiries. In fact, we have already talked to around 20 to 30 potential business partners from different countries on the first day, which is a very satisfactory number.”
Victor Cheung, Executive Director, Robin Energy Ltd (Hong Kong)
“We are a total service provider of integrated energy-efficient solutions. It is our second time exhibiting at the fair and we have already had 20 to 30 good solid leads on Day 1. Visitors are very professional decision-makers, and we were given a lot of marketing opportunities during the fair.”
Arthur Lam, Executive Director, Synergy Group (Hong Kong)
“Our highlight product is our patented LED panel. The traffic flow of Eco Expo Asia is good and we met well over 20 visitors from India, Canada and other countries. There are a variety of professional visitors at the Expo including architects and end-users from overseas. The show allows us to maintain relationships with existing clients whom we have done value-added energy-saving projects for.”
