| Exhibitors’ and Buyers’ Comments |
Hear what the exhibitors say:
“Our company is newly set up in Hong Kong and joins the fair to promote our new products just arriving to the local market, such as a probiotic cleaning concentrate, an odour control concentrate and an indoor food waste composter. The response from visitors was very good. End-users kept asking us where and how to buy the products, and agents were interested in becoming distributors. We got a lot of leads and contacts. And I got an email from a Hong Kong government department asking about the odour treatment products on the second day. We will definitely come back next year.”
Mr Simon Chang, General Manager, SCD Probiotics (HK) Co Ltd, Hong Kong
“We’ve been exhibiting at Eco Expo Asia now for more than five years, and it’s been a good show to us. Our goal was to promote a number of innovative Canadian green technology companies, focused on environmental preservation and property development solutions. Business has been good at the show. Our suppliers have met a number of good buyers to help grow their business. Canadian companies have a lot to offer firms looking to incorporate green-tech into their businesses. As such, we will definitely continue exhibiting at the expo.”
Ms Fatima Lai, Trade Commissioner, Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong
Hear what the buyers say:
“I’ve been coming to the Eco Expo Asia fair for several years now to see what latest innovations are being developed by companies. My firm focuses on investing in green tech companies, particularly green building solutions providers and agriculture firms. The fair is impressive and has provided me with valuable information on some good companies to invest in. I’ll definitely keep coming back.”
Mr Joshua Matthews, Senior Investment Analyst, Fundamental Value Partners, Hong Kong
“We specialise in importing energy-saving lighting products and waste management systems for residential and commercial use. It’s my third time visiting the fair and the results have been very good. There are some great, innovative companies presented here. I’ll definitely continue coming to the fair.”
Mr Denis Ducasse, Director, Deko Green Ltd., Mauritius
