Buyer’s Comments |

“We are among the first group of companies in southern part of France to offer eco-friendly and energy-saving products. We are a distributor and as well working on EU projects to give advice on their green projects. We are sourcing energy-saving products which can be used in schools and institutions in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. This is our first time to Eco Expo Asia and I have already found some very interesting products. These encompass a Hong Kong supplier’s environmental bag which can decompose by itself in 80 days—without going through any recycling procedure, as well as some energy-saving LED lights. I will further look around for products or technologies that save water. With the growing prospect of this market in our country, we will need to keep sourcing for new products, and of course, this expo will again be my destination next year.”
Mr. Gilberto Dias, President, Azzura Lights, France

Exhibitor’s Comments |

“Kawasaki has recovered from a polluted city through utilizing different environment technologies, thus many of the Kawasaki enterprises are strong in this specific area and we hope to introduce them to the world market. This is the second year we have led a delegation to Eco Expo Asia and this time seven of the exhibitors are from Kawasaki. This year our exhibitors are showcasing different innovative products, among them is a company offering original know-how and techniques in water jet cleaning that are applicable in buildings, water storage tanks and public sewage system; while another exhibitor specialises in emergency drinking water system and carwash water recycling system. We are exhibiting here for the second year because we believe for making inroads in overseas market, specifically the Chinese mainland, we need to keep our presence to build up our image as well as to establish a network of contacts. Plus, some of our previous exhibitors had also successfully found new customers at this expo last year!” Mr. Tetsuro Ogata, New Industry Promotion Division, Kawasaki Institute of Industry Promotion, City of Kawasaki, Japan
